In one line: you read a shortlist, and that's the whole transaction. No login, no forms, no store, no gambling. The only data at play is the standard technical footprint of any web visit, plus optional analytics and ad cookies covered below.

lionderby.com is an independent editorial shortlist ("we"). We are neither a casino nor a booking service, and we run no gambling of any kind.

2. The technical footprint

Visiting generates what every website receives automatically: an IP address and the region it points to, browser/device signals from request headers, and a record of pages viewed with timestamps. We never request names, emails or card details.

3. Purpose

Only to keep the page live and secure, to read anonymous aggregate traffic, and to meet legal obligations. No data is sold; no individual profiles are built.

4. Cookies & ad tech

We may use first-party cookies plus third-party analytics and advertising, including Google Analytics and Google advertising products. Such vendors may use cookies to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits. Control cookies in your browser, and opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

Data reaches only the hosting and analytics providers that operate the site, under their terms, and authorities if compelled by law. There is no one else.

Logs and aggregates persist only as long as needed, are transmitted over HTTPS and protected by provider-side access controls.

This shortlist covers gambling venues and is intended for readers 18+. We knowingly collect no data from minors.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and similar frameworks you may seek access, correction or deletion and complain to the ICO. With no accounts on file, these rights mainly concern cookies you can erase in your browser.
